Pfizer manufacture Rogaine and is sold all around the world under that name, however in the United Kingdom they sell it under the name Regaine. It is available in either a 2% or 5% strength solution or a 5% Foam. Whats also interesting is that Pfizer also manufacture & sell Kirkland 5% Minoxidil (see picture below).

Many people are not even aware of this and are surprised when they find out, I was shocked myself when I found out. However it makes financial sense for a company to offer a second product under a different name when there are other companies who are selling their own generic products. By producing/selling more products overall, it helps to decrease their unit production costs. This in turn allows them to make even more money on the more well known branded version, whilst still making a profit & having a hold on the market with their secondary product.
If you are in the United Kingdom then you can expect to pay up to £29.95
for a months supply of Regaine Extra Strength. If you would like
to pay as little as £8.83 per month (saving over 70% in the process
- When you buy a 6 month supply of Kirkland Minoxidil instead of Regaine
Extra Strength) then take a look below. Remember that Kirkland Minoxidil
is made by Pfizer and is EXACTLY the same as the Regaine you buy for
£29.95 per month. And you know that Rogaine is the name that Regaine
is sold as all over the world.

Finasteride
(Propecia or Proscar) &
Dutasteride (Avodart) |
Finasteride was originally developed by Merck Pharmaceuticals in the
early 1990s for the treatment of enlarged prostate glands (proscar).
It wasn't long before users noticed a welcome side effect; that the
drug appeared to halt hair loss, and in some cases even promote re-growth.
Merck set to work and began a two year study on more than 1,500 men
who were experiencing hair loss in their twenties and thirties. Each
was given 1 mg of Finasteride daily, and at the end of the two-year
period the results were impressive; 83 per cent of the men had either
maintained or increased their hair count.

In 1997 the FDA approved Finasteride as a hair loss treatment for men.
Finasteride (Propecia) is often used in conjunction with Minoxidil (Regaine),
the former targeting prevention of hair loss and the latter aimed at
promoting hair regrowth
Finasteride is a prescription medicine and can cost anything up to £600
for a years supply. I purchase it for only £30 for a years supply,
yes that's correct only £30, saving myself £570 per year
in the process. The place I order it from does not require me to provide
them with a prescription (even though I have one), they assume that
I have one. If you would like the information of where I purchase it
from then take a look below

Dutasteride
(Avodart)
|
Dutasteride (sold under the name Avodart) is another product used to combat hair loss. It is not something which I have personally used, however many people are interested in it. Dutasteride is very expensive, around £70 for a months supply, however I know of a place where you can purchase it for around £20 for a months supply, without requiring a prescription. I have no problems in recommending the supplier, as it is one of the places where I have been purchasing finasteride from over the past 6 years.
This information on where to purchase Dutasteride from will be sent totally FREE to everyone who orders the information on finasteride (above).
